I dont think that we have to count again from the day which our files reach to new offices. They will process the files at the point it was before. So for the people that they are at the end of this process like me and wait me my love its will by end soon for us nshallah. Because if you tell me we have to wait another 14 month I will die lol :'(

As you know the embassy is closed in Damascus and file transferring means our files are not any more in Syria. So we have to start to count again from the day which our files reach to new offices! And i hope we do not have to wait as long as we have waited for Damascus.

No way! Consider turkey time line and if u r lucky u have to wait even less than 5 months for ur visa from the date ankara received the file.

no it won't be like that i don't think so, im almost in my 15month..i think.. it's going to be done this month...trust me this month.

Never! God bless us! But as you see this transferring causes some delays in our cases. If every thing was normal you must get your visa till now. But now you and all of us have to wait a little bit more.

so I was feeling anxious this morning and decided to call Ankara. I talked to a receptionist and asked her what the wait is like for the files from Damascus that were transferred over. she said to think of it as the Damascus embassy moving to a new location but everything staying the same. she said the files from Damascus are in their own location separate from the rest of the embassy with their own staff. so we would still follow the same timeline of 14 mths total... not starting over but continuous. I told her I was at 11 mths she said to expect 3 more mths. She was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable and even wished me luck. I know we get a lot of different answers no matter who we ask but thought I'd share this one. have a great day
