I want to wait until March, you know that the time which you have to say goodbye to your husband in the airport is the worst time in our life. :(

U r absolutely right, saying goodbye is very hard.
March sounds great....u can be together during Norouz holiday.

I really do agree with keeping yourself busy. It is I have found the best distraction and the best way to make time go by faster. When the Christmas break came around I hated it cause i had too much free time on my hand and couldn't stop thinking about this process. Now that I am back to school and work I am halfway through January without even realizing it.

Stay positive. There is no point in being negative, it will not get you anywhere. I know at times it gets really hard as it is for me right now since last year at this time I was on vacation with my husband now I am here stuck in the university library or at work. But this shall pass too just like everything else. Like I said look at the bright side next new years eve you know it will be with your spouse. Look at things that way to keep you optimistic!

I agree with you dear,
we have to do something that to be busy more and more

i redo my medical 9 days ago, and when i use the tracing number show that paris receive my medical 5 day after, is there anyway to know when the file is going to reach damascus? i redo it without them asking, wish you all to get your visa soon insha allah.

Unfortunately we can not know when our results will receive to Damascus. If you check other thread you will see that it takes at least 3-4 months to receive Damascus. I myself thought that it was 3 weeks but it was false.
One of friends here has done his medical in November and till now Damascus has not received his report and it delays visa issuing.

Umm, that's absurd, it wont and cannot take that long, thats hilarious if it does though! My hubby asked his doctor and the doctors like it takes us a couple of days to send it to Paris and then from Paris it takes them another couple days until their done and then Damascus receives it. He said tops 2-3 weeks. :) And i'm sure there are other people that have re done their medicals and a month later they have received their ppr :D Everyones file varies :D

Good luck everyone. Have a good weekend xoxo

No my friend.
All the medicals go to Paris (centralized approach) and from there it is sent to Damascus.
Despite what arezou said I believe that medicals reach Damascus in few weeks. (not few months).

Hello hello, thank you Sohrab jaan.

I just read the comment on how long it takes for the embassy to receive the medical results. Does it mean this will happen the second time as well, after the first one expires?

Should I tell my wife to go and get another one? Our file started on March 15th.

Thanks guys.

hi AliAria:)
did your first medical expire already? our file got to Damascus on April 12 and ours expires next week. we decided to go ahead and redo the medical a few days ago to hopefully save time. I would recommend redoing it.... others have and it seems to have saved time for them. I believe the second medical also takes a couple weeks to a month to get to Damascus.

Good luck:)

in my opinion if medical expired go do it without them asking because youll be 6 to 8 weeks ahead in this long journey!no news until sunday than?

i just felt i need to share this, the new CROWD in this forum are very negative, come on guys, let it go, live your lives , let time be the healer, let time be the decision maker, ive been in this forum more than a year now and never ive seen such negativity........ we have people complaining at 6 7 8 months!
are you kidding me?

if you have so much time on your hand to complain and swear and be depressed well then why not click back a few pages and see what went on in the last 12 months, for example, we had kamal, nagz, gem, who were always positive and they got what they were waiting for, me and vivi and parastoo came along and we kept positive too, but all of the sudden everytime i read pages of this forum its all F syria F This process why am i so sad , why should i be alone, come on........... wake up , you all know WHAT you signed up for, this is a forum to share information and feelings i agree but not to create a negative vibe for whoever is just about to be a sponsor, when i just signed up to this forum i was so optimistic because of what i was reading but now, if i would have joined today SUICIDE would be my only thought.......i wonder why

Sohrab joon

i TOTALLY agree with you , i mean we all have our sad and bad days but they're not everyday , and yes the new crowd is more negative , the thing is, wether they're negative or positive nothing changes the situation , we are way better then other countries take a look at Abu Dhabi in UAE its over 20 months , Canada is doing us a favor by accepting our spouses based on the fact that theyre married to us and maybe not a contribution to society and we should thank them for it not insult them and pressure them to just accept someone quickly what if someone u married is a criminal or a bad person and u dont even know it , its canada's job to find out. Our original countried wouldnt do 10% of what canada does for us yet we still go there and love them so i think canada deserves a LOT more respect.
Sohrab joon vivi is still here and im still here and missmini is a positive gal , keep the faith and dont loose it !
lots of love ur friend always
