;) ;) ;) ;) ;)HI Iltham,

oh oh I am already done and no longer in process and I just landed on friday. I was just saying that my process took forever until my pain was over. the process should be more easy on the married couples and that they should have the choice to be together until the decision is made.

kamal

There's nothing you *have* to do, but you may *choose* to request from the ATIP office printouts of the computer system that the IOs use when they work on your file to see the progress on it. That's essentially what GCMS notes are.
haw to request from the ATIP office and what is that

I got this fax number a while ago :

+33 1 44 43 29 83

I never tried it myself but it was on a page of the official website. It's called the Paris Medical Centre something lol...cuz we were trying to find a number to contact them too, but they only gave a fax number. No email and no phone number. But you can just call the doctor where you did the test and ask if the results were received. That's what we did and found out that Paris received them 1 week after we did them.

thanks so much scarycemetary !!!! :-*

Read here: http://immipedia.ca/Ordering_FOSS_and_CAIPS_notes. Granted, it takes a month to receive the documentation and by that time, you may be done.

I'm from the U.S., originally from the Soviet Union. I'm being sponsored by my Canadian citizen husband, a native of Morocco. Lots of different places between the two of us, eh? :)

Hi Ayad-
Basically the embassey is still functioning normally so we dont have to worry but the Canadian government just released that if a Canadian citizen has a spouse in Syria they can apply fir a visitor visa and they will do their best to process it in 5 days to help get spouses of canadians out of danger in Syria. R u being sponsored or sponsoring your spouse? where r u from? you can find more info on the CIC website. on the homepage there is a link that says "situation in Syria". That's the basic situation. I talked to CIC on Friday and they told me embassey is open and functioning normal and in the event that they close measures will be taken to transfer our files and we will be notified. she also told me I should be patient, some countries have 20+ mths processing so it's not that bad to wait for 13. so basically we can do nothing but be patient, wait and pray the situation does not get worse ... unless you or your spouse is in Syria then u should apply for visitor visa, u have a higher than normal chance of getting it.

my wife is in iraq Dohuk and im in canda sask regina im spounsoring my wife my cuzins have brought they spouses in like 5 months last last 10 years and last year my cusin came in 5 months and i am also from iraq but lived in canada my whole life and im canandaian citizen so unno what u think???

Hi Ayad-
I think all you can do is wait since your spouse isn't in Syria. I noticed on here that most members are in the Ontario/Quebec area. I'm in Alberta, we're both in the prairies;)

oh and I know... the processing used to be so much faster :( my brother in law sponsored his wife and it only took 4.5 months. That was 3 yrs ago. now the wait is much longer. keep up your hopes though... u never know what will happen.
