Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009

today, my wife called the Canadian Embassy in Damascus. she told them that she did her medical exam for the second time last October and she never heard anything. They asked her to send an email but she said we tried to send multiple emails and no one answered. to make long story short, they called her back and told her that the results of the medical exam did not arrive yet and asked her to email them in 15 days. inshallah khier...

yeah we have been having a lot of problems here at the embassy regarding medicals, the postal service lost maybe 10 medicals, we had people complaining about sending their medicals 3 months ago and the embassy never got it, so yeah they are creating a private courier for the medicals and they way it looks by mid 2012 it will be electronic since paper is having too many problems

I know mine got to Paris, because I tracked it.
do they send the results from Paris to Damascus electronically or by mail?
how long does take Paris take to send it to Damascus.

i couldnt help but post this , i read one of the posts about being away from the loved one and well what about poor old sohrab, its been 18 months since the last time i saw my wife..... this sunday december 11 is our second marriage anniversary, the math shows i was in iran for 6 months after our wedding and the rest....
yeah i had the chance to go back , twice actually i bought tickets but because of my stupid job it didnt happen, anyways there is no point anymore, ive been away from her for 18 months and my file will be done within the next 2 or 3 so whats the point of renewing the pain of separation...... im sure years from now we will look at this separation period as a sweet memory , whenever we want to kill each other we will remember we were separated for so long loooool

sohrab joon i know it aint easy but ure a stong guy i gues women are weaker when it comes to the emotional cha cha but were all trying to be very strong here and inshallah like u said things will go faster then espected....take care and be safe

its only say application received, and no, im being sponsored,

that's what i see when i use my info:

We received ********** application for permanent residence on March 29, 2011.

and that's when i use my wife info:

We received your application to sponsor ************** on February 18, 2010.

We started processing your application on March 17, 2011

so if you check the dates, you will find alot of mistakes i applied in 2011 not 2010 ;D ;D ;D.

Even if they did not a copy of the green slip via mail they can just simply get the required information from Paris,which was ent by the doctor, just by using the name of applicant and thier file number. Can't they ?!

I did contact them about 2 months ago after a long period of waiting, and i was surprised to hear that my wife's application is still pending recieving the second medical. Which she did in late May and it was sent to them via DHL and was recieved by them according to DHL tracking, we also got the tracking # of the DHL parcel that was sent by the Dr to Paris and it was also recieved by Paris.
They asked for a copy of the green slip via e-mail but unfortuenately my wife did not keep a copy. Last week I e-mailed them and said that we did not keep a copy for ourselves and that the results were recieved by Paris and by Damascus based on DHL tracking info. And I asked them to inform us what should we do in case they couldn't get the info they want.

If the want to do thier job. I think it's easy ask Paris about the second medical. Give them the applicant name and file # and wala you got your freaken missing info.
What is really pissing me off is that I have already told them this info in July. But I think they don't even read the e-mails carefuly
As you can see life is taugh, get a helmet. but I wonder how much more this helmet can withstand

oh buddy i hope it all works out for the best for u and u get it soon an why doesnt she just go do it again and go to damascus give the stupid green paper and get the ppr in 3 week its worth it its like 120 $ for medical exam in damascus and its very fast ... cause if ure gonna wait for them to finally read that e mail maybe ur helmet will not make it.,....thats my input ....so ur file has been in process since when my friend ?
