If they requested the second medical, then it's usually 6 to 8 weeks from their requested date. So count from the day you received their email. My MP told me that.

I just got an email from embassy and they REQUESTED MY WIFE'S PASSPORT, YEEEEEEEEEEEE

Finally, we got to the final stage!!!! They asked us to send the passport to Canadian Embassy in Tehran as in Iran we cannot send passport out or in to the country.

Thank you so much everyone for all your nice and warm comments which helped us a lot and gave us so much hope.

I truly wish everyone here to get their passport request ASAP.

The funny part is yesterday I honestly felt that we were gonna get contacted somehow so while I was in the car with my uncle I said yay the embassy opens tomorrow and he was like okkkayyy? I'm like cause they close on fri and sat. Yiiii my chance THANK YOU ALLAH!!!

I was at the DHL office today and I asked them this question, they said that the embassy should contact you saying that the visa is issued and your passport is ready, and then you ask DHL office at your country to contact the one in Syria and they will pick your passport from the embassy. so simply you should arrange it with the courier company GOOD LUCK

Guys I have a few questions for those who got PPR before

It says Please note, this does not guarantee that a visa will be issued. ... was that the case for anyone ?

It says to bring 2 recent photos... is it the small passport ones ?

Any ideas where my husband can stay overnight .. a close hotel or motel near the embassy ?
