yes, we filled it and send it back Sep. 17th! but we didn't hear anything since then!

dont know what to tell you, i am in the same boat as you.
i did submit it in Sept. 24 and they confirmed that they received it.

I'm sponsoring my wife from Jordan! we paid all the fees at the beginning as well! and then we received an e-mail from embassy on September, 14th.. asking for the right of permanent residence fee !! when we asked the lawyer ...she said : asking for that fee means the application is finally being approved!! but when i came here, i felt like no body has paid it or you guys paid it in the early beginning before they even ask for it?! ...

we received a letter on June 6 that asked for the final right of permanent residence fee. We paid it that same day and it took 3 weeks for immigration to process it. The letter said "in order to conclude your application we require the final fee....." Our lawyer also told us that this means the visa is next. When I called the call centre they also told us that this means the application is approved and even on the website it says that this fee is asked for when they are ready to issue the visa. We have heard nothing since then.... almost 4 months since they received their payment our lawyer sent them an email 2 weeks ago but no response.
Anyway that's our experience with bring asked fir final PR fees!

guys im from November ppl and till now know answer about anything, they didnt even asked to redo the medical...and this thing is killing me... they dont even reply to my emails even my wife she sent three emails and know answer... next month i will reach a year... and my medical is already expired two month ago and they didnt ask to redo it.... anyone has the same problem

yesterday I visited the embassy and i asked them about medicals (expired 1 month ago ) , the lady said don,t worry in 3 weeks if u didn't get your visa I will send u to make new one

this is same thing they told my MP office (we may need new medicals)
thats why I visited the embassy but I got same answer in 3 weeks if I didn't get my wife visa then she has to redo it
also they told me (the appl is in final step it needs to be signed by the conellor )

did the email you got for the RQ included this quote:

"Please note, if you are successful and a visa is issued you will be requested to send your ORIGINAL PASSPORT directly to the Canadian Embassy in Damascus via commercial courier. Passports cannot be submitted to our offices in Amman, Beirut, or Tehran. DO NOT send your original passports until you are requested to do so. At that time you will be provide with additional information on procedures."

hey h r u in iltham ? can u go inside embassy or because u have canadian nationality ??thy allow u to enter? ...n did they told u the last step is the medical clearence??thank u
