did you do it after you received the email requesting new meddical exam? and when did your first medical exam expire?

I wish I can answer your qyestion, but why dont you go to syria!

my wife went there two weeks ago and iot is safe in Damascus. Take sham road.

Yes i got email to redo it on 26 october 2011 , my first was expired on 16 septmber 2 011 so they requested after 1month and 10 days,im worried no one adviceS me to go to damsacus in person

man, ppl talks a lot...i mean they want to spend time.

my wife went there two weeks ago o drop of the green paper...she told me that there is nothing going on in Damascus. Most, if not all the violence is in Homs. you always can give it to the Canadian Embassy in Beirut, but expect some delays. I mean they dont have a mail service that goes back and forth every day.
It can take sometime, and you never know what happens in the upcoming weeks.

mabrook mickie and nagz dont worry,your lucky they opened your file already and you have information which is good.My husbands cousin got his visa last week too and his file has been in damascus scince july 2010.(16months)but it looks like all 2010 people will be done by december inshallah so our turn will come (feb 2011)yalla damascus be kind and give pprs!everybody is waiting

i need to know how does it make sense that they received the PR application on may 13 2011 then they write on e-cas we started processing your application on november 29th 2011 ..and then they send me the e mail that its undergoing further background verifications andd it i not a routine case and might take longer then 13 months ???? Please i am going crazy i havent stopped crying all day and im going insane ...what is wrong with my file so they sent me that ? how come they only started processing on november 29th meaning after 6 and a half months from the received date ??? please anyone someone explain this to me...

Hi Ramz,
I think your husband should seriously consider applying for a visiting visa. Damascus is full of surprises and inconvience.
