Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009

ya msha7ar janet el benet. you're talking to yourself now?? lol Don't freak out I don't think what she said is RIGHT because so many people were asked to re-submit a medical exams and I don't think all of their tests came out positive. And why 13 months !!! they should finish the first files before attacking the next FIRST ARRIVED FIRST SERVED!!!!! We have waited enough!! We want justice!

What should I say regarding waiting?
I really die daily as I see nothing new on my wife's application status!
I ask ALLAH to give us more patience!

That does make sense and your are right but at the same time I don't understand why she would say such a thing.. she works for CIC .. I would believe pretty much anything they tell me considering the fact that they are trained and qualified for the job..

Who knows..

All I know is im sick and tired of waiting and waiting and waiting..

I also asked her well when we sent in our application the processing time was 9 months now it has moved up to 13 does that mean we will have to wait 13 mo ? She said Yes because that is the CURRENT wait time..

geminibella don't regret having had ur husband re-do the medical, everyone at CIC says something different. my MP at first had said wait to re do the medical for my husband then the next time i spoke to him he said that he wud have to have them re done.. i called Service Canada one said re do them the other said wait.. everyone is saying u cannot enter without a valid medical :s its better to be a step ahead than behind becuz this process is just about ready to kill us all!! its not only raining money in ottawa we have money tree's in toronto!!
it is all so frustrating , too much info can be lethal at times since we never know what IS the right or wrong answer to anything!!!! LOL @ talking to urself been there doing that

because all the Damascus files are being sent to Ottawa because of the problems they are having there.

NAgz , when my wife went inside she said there was only one officer serving all people coming in ! but you know canada and US they have more security guards at the door than employees....it is is really ridiculus how they treat people, but inshala you will get ppr soon, very soon..

honestly people in the call center know NOTHING! think i'm joking? well try calling again today and see when you talk to different agents how much different responses you get!
because the wait time on the website is 13 months DOES NOT mean we have to wait 13 months! god! do you guys prefer to believe an average without any standard deviation (which makes the average nonsense) or do you prefer to look at the real timelines we have from real people?!
in fact for anyone who wants to know that 13 months is not an average! this is called a "gaussian" distribution or curve, 80% of the area under the curve were done in 13 months OR LESS, this does not contradict with the fact that 50% of the area under the curve hits 8 months or 30% hits 6 months or whatever.
i'm sorry if i seem angry but all this negativity in the forum really upsets me, not because of myself, but because of i see how you guys, which i'm even friends with some of you outside this forum, make yourselves worried!

I guess your right vivi but everyone and everywhere is so CONTRADICTING.. WHO DO YOU BELIEVE? I think the best thing to do is just LET IT BE dont listen to whatever anyone has to say

my uncle keeps telling me to keep on bugging them in damascus so they will keep the file out but I mean who knows if thats what theyll do or instead they will just push the file back .....

im calling my MP's office on thursday it will be 3 weeks to find out what news there is.. lets hope there is SOME SORT OF NEWS.. id be so dissapointed if she tells me well they havent replied to me yet .. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

it's so normal to be worried when they don't give u any news for 8 months. i mean u can't keep on being positive when u're not receiving some encouragement or any good news, this is just the way life is! in order to be happy we need positive events, and until now, i've seen nthg but negativity: in my country, in Damascus, in the news... i just can't create positivity out of nthg, we really need sthg good to keep going!!!
