Hello/Salam,

I am going to start my wife's application in a month from now (July), I am heading home (Isfahan/Iran) for my wedding; I have some questions about medical; my wife went to the doctor and she said that she is going to send the original documents to the immigration however I haven't started my wife's application yet; will it cause any problem? also the doctor asked my wife about "Option C" I thought doctors should have all the forms, am I right? why did she ask "Option C" from my wife? I also heard that "Option C" is not acceptable anymore and the is another form "IMM 1017" am I right? I really appreciate if anyone knows answer to any of the above questions let me know. Hi there,

Yes it's totally fine to send out the medicals before submitting your application, its actually recommended as processing medicals can take a month. However I suggest not to make a long gap between medicals and sending application, in order to save your wife's meds expiry. The doctors have all the forms, all your wife needs to do is to obtain a copy from her doctor and include it in her application. I dont see why her doctor asked for Option C Printout, its required of sponsor ( you) and not the applicant ( your wife ). You have to obtain Option C Printout of your last fiscal year Notice of Assessment. You can call Canada Revenue Agency and it takes about 10 days to recieve it. It's very important to include this Option C, if for any reason you cannot obtain one, make sure you explain it in writting when preparing the application.
