My husband has been looking for flights to van from mashad and nothing... His other and only option is to go ti tehran... Thank god lufthansa is still operating... I just want him here so i can stop worrying if he will evn b able to make it to canada after getting his visa.... Unbelievable the things we have to deal With and worry about

that was exactly what i was thinking about during a couple of hours ago as i had a great experience flying with KLM about 2 years ago. so sad all airlines r getting to cancel flights to/from tehran n there just remains a few options.

OhMG this is awful... I really hope Turkish wouldn't cancel its flights from and to Tehran since it's currently most convenient airlines from Tehran to Toronto.

I agree it's the best option from Toronto to Iran be it Tehran or Mashhad ...
But if all these other airlines cancel their flights Turkish might increase their prices since there be no competition!
I wish I could go back to 10 years ago when things were improving and Iran was slowly joining the world community ...
so much pressure on us right now and it's from all sides! CIC, Iran, bad economy and being away from our partners make it even HARDER! :'(

This is never ending... Although we will b reunited with our partners then what about our families back home? Although my immediate family is here w me in canada but how about my in laws... Do u guys know of how we can sponsor our spouses parents??? If only they were with us here dige hich ghami toe donya nadashtam... I wonder how long we have to wait before we could apply for them??? Any ideas???

Dunno what to say... Hate politics and all but can't believe how shamefully Iran's doing... Hope "what goes around comes around" someday bring them down from their power chair.

Niloo joon you can no longer sponsor parents for permanent residency. They only issue a 2 years visa I believe, dunno how long the process takes though, but I guess quite lengthy

Erina is right. You can no longer sponsor your parents for immigration at least for now. They can get Supervisa tho which is the same thing as visitor visa but lets them stay longer ...

Just for the record... The North Vancouver MP office just, disappointing, answered me that they won't even email Ankara asking for a followup if the process time has not extended the Ankara's 16-month declared process duration.
