My husband got a call from Beruit to pick up his visa on Monday! After 22 months.

His application was sent to Damascus in July, 2010.
I don't know why it took so long all the paper work was in order.
I guess it's just the luck of the draw unfortunately.
I do not believe they follow any system on issuing visas.
One of our friends got his visa 6 months before us and we applied 6 months before them.
But all that doesn't matter anymore, Hamdillah it is all over.

Seeing PPR from Amman and Beirut makes me more excited than seeing PPR from Ankara!! Because these two offices have been so silent, especially Beirut, this was awesome news!!

Tara first of all congratz a million inshalla you will unite with your husband in no time...and as far as worring goes, im no longer worried becuase i no longer care what happens looll,,i cant do much about it therefore i dont care about it too, if we get visa its good if not then its a no, and i have been too stressed over this stupuid processing and ques that i have given up on the system and im just gana go on with normal daily living..congratz again, and inshalla vivi, and A+M will get their pprs in no time...

I and my husband are waiting for 7 years, and actually 6years long distant relationship. During these years every time I was disappointed God showed his signs, so be sure that best things happen for u in best time

My husband received AOR on 15 june 2011, and in my e-case it says CIC received my application for PR on 4 july 2011. my file never sent to damascus, cic sent it to ottawa and then to Ankara. I redid medical exam before Ankara ask me

it means "Acknowledgement Of Receipt", I mean the mail CIC send to sponsor says he/she has eligiblity as sponsor.

I have a question:
I wanna know how many days after recieving approval letter from mississuaga that says they have sent the file to the visa office, how long after that have you recieved the file number from the VO? which is (in my case) ankara.
