hi guys,
i am writing you from Ankara. our 14 months processing time was passed therefore i decided to come to Ankara and follow up on the file and hope that i would either get an answer for PR or get a temporary tourist visa for my wife like Fardizad did. i did show up at 8 o'clock at the immigiration section of the embassy and there were almost 30 people in line for their applications and after 2 hours of waiting they told me write your email address and we will contact you otherwise since you have a lawyer you just have to wait to hear from him!!! i did explain to them that the processing time has passed and they said: well you jusy have to wait more!!!!! the funny thing was that i was not able to see any candian employee and the reciption was the only place i could reach and they refused me any access to anyone else. basically the people i could talk to didn't have any authority over this issue and when i asked to talk to someone in charge or a advisor or counselor or officer they said you can't!!!
Sohrab maybe you can help me and tell me what should i do or Faridzad maybe you can tell me who you talked with ( or who did your wife talked with ) and what did she say. thanks guys this is the last bullet i had and it did hit the stone. i am at a point that i either get an aswer or i will go back to canada and ack my stuff and quit my job and school and go back to Iran.
divaneeeeeeee, albate gharaz az jesarat, vali in harekat eshtebah bood be nazare man, it wasnt the right move my friend,
i didnt talk with anyone, i didnt have a lawyer, i filled the forms like everyone else and sat down and shut up and waited......
simple as that...... i didnt do anything special so my wife can get a visa, and i dont understand why you are comparing your self to farid, he waited 22 months WITHOUT ANY NEWS! azize man javgir shodi,
14 months isnt a big deal at all, you have to understand the SITUATION before you make a judgement and act !
if this was a perfect world yes, after 6 7 months we should all be at the doors of embassies knocking it down, but it isnt, syria was closed for 1 months, transfer takes 1-3 months, my file left syria on feb 2 2012 and arrived on april 2 2012, so i lost 3 months, 1 month for damascus to close, 2 months to transfer,
i didnt go to ankara...............
be reasonable....... i accepted that this is a BAD situation and we have to deal with it....... and i did.. i was so shocked i got my ppr 29 days after it arrived in ankara that i was crying...... then i realized , it took them 4 days to do it...... so its all because of the mess , because of the bad luck, because of the commotion we faced........ all you can do is be patient and wait ..... quiting your job and education does one thing ...... it shows your weakness........ if you copied farid and went to turkey... copy him and have PATIENCE !
i didnt mean to be rude or anything but its reality my friend........ wake up and smell the air
