Damascus CHC- Processing time

Hi,

I've been reading in CHC Damscus site that they are currently actively processing Sep 2004 applicants (FSW before Feb 2008) and thus they didn't start processing any applications after this date!!!

I applied As per the new rules and sent my docs to CHC way back in Sep2009, and current Ecase shoe Recieved by visa office.

when do you think they will process post feb 2008 applications, as 6-12 months processing period will definetly not be met in this case?!!?? in other words when should i expect change in Ecase to inprocess??

Pls read the sentence again and you will know the answer for your question

That's applied for old applications only

if you read carfeully my post you'll notice that my question is when do you think they will process post feb 2008 applications??

Dear Hassan,

If you read the instructions of the CIS process you will find the case after Feb 2008 will be immediately put under process upon receipt.
So your application now is under process regardless the online status.

Current Active Processing
Damascus is currently actively processing applications received before the below noted dates. If you submitted your application in one of these categories after the noted date, please be advised that the processing of your application has not started. Applications submitted in other categories (Family Class, Refugee, etc.) are currently within processing standards.

Federal Skilled Workers (submitted before 27 February 2008): September 2004
Federal Investors: August 2007
Federal Entrepreneurs/ Self Employed: July 2004
Remember to check back on this site for updates before submitting your inquiry as we will not respond to status requests for files not in active processing.

based on the above my application is not yet in process!! my question is still when do you expect they will start processing my application knowing that i've applied post Feb 08 and sent my docs to CHC in sep 09.

Hassan,

Again the noted date is only applicable for the old applications before 27 Feb 2008
that's not applicable for your application since it has been submited after Feb 27 2008.
Based on the CIC instructions your application now is pending review for eligibility stage and if all is ok they will put it under process soon.
OR it may be under process right now.
The way of processing the apllications after 27 Feb 2008 is extremily differrent from the old applications before 27 Feb 2008.
They have to give you the final decision within 6 to 12 months as max.

My application status has been changed to in process since the last month.
Usually it takes from 2 to 4 months to have your application under process.
After to have it in procsess abd after some months based on your case they will send u a request either for medical or for an interview.
If medical the time will be shorter that if they request an interview.
If medical is ok and after 1 to three months they will request your passport to give you the visa.
So before the end of 2010 you will know the final decision or you will get the visa.
