Damaged Indian Passport with valid TRV (worker status)

Hello All,

My passport with valid TRV(worker status) and valid B1/B2 US visa got damaged.
However I applied for the new passport and I received it.
Do I have to apply for my TRV again or can I request to re-stamp my TRV on the new passport ?
I did come across IMM-5009 form with $30CAD fee for restamping purposes.
Anyone been through a similar situation ? Any suggestions ?

If the visas in your damaged passport are still legible just have both passports with you if traveling to Canada. Can't comment on the USA visa part.

Yes my visas are my passport booklet pages are in good condition. The booklet just tore off the passport cover page!
I hope it shouldn’t be a problem !
