Here's a question I never thought I'd be asking - are slightly damaged documents acceptable to CIC?
I ask because, after getting almost everything together for the full application to CIC-Buffalo, my town just had a major flood this past weekend and all my papers (amongst other things) got wet. All my certified (expensive) photocopies e.g. birth certificate, diplomas, etc. were soaked. (Some were totally destroyed, like my copy of my original application (to CIO), and my transcripts, so I already have to replace some things). They are still quite legible, but you can tell they got wet (the paper is wrinkled, some ink has smeared a little, etc.).
I'm trying NOT to take it as some kind of sign.![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
What do you think? Submit these anyway? Or (gulp) TRY to get new copies in time?
