My application was send to Dakar, Just wondering if any one here knows how fast the dakar office treat the files.

From this discussion from "Dakar, Senegal applicants" it looks like anywhere between 8 to 14 months. but CIC has 19 months processing time.

Update: Dakar is no longer backlogged. Processing times for the whole process are roughly between 8-10 months.

How do you know that they are no longer backlogged?

I know people who are at 17 month others at 12 months
If the file does not have red flaggs it can be fast

Hello Guys, i am extremely glad to have been part of this Dakar sponsorship group. My file was received May 8th, 2017 and was sent to Dakar in August 15th, 2017. Any idea how long does it takes for Dakar to reach a file and call for passport? File has been there for 4 months now but in total, my file is 8 Months now.
