People the end is here!!!

My husband went in for his interview- they just wanted to confirm a few things. They asked for his passport on the spot and he is getting his passport back with the visa today at 3!!!!!!

I can't believe this is finally over. Thank you for all your support. I couldn't have made it without you guys?

Congrats Collins !!!!

Hi Collins,

Do you mind telling us what was Dakar's concern so we can be ready in case we have the same situation.

Thank you

Ya no problem. So basically they wanted to know more about the relationship, in particular what communication and time we spent together after the marriage. Because we applied right after our wedding, they wanted to know what the contact was after that. They also wanted to talk to my husband in person about the relationship to determine if it was genuine or not. My husband's interview lasted less than an hour. My husband brought in all pictures from our time together after the wedding, our communication logs, and our wedding album. He did most of the talking, and the interviewer told him she was satisfied with the evidence and that they needed to see him in person to complete the application. Upon saying this, she requested his passport and told him to come back to get it at 3.

My advice to you guys if you have an interview - bring whatever else you can to prove the relationship is true.Be prepared, and follow a lot of the questions that deffy posted in this forum. Make sure you know little details about your application and personal details about your partner. But most of all just be yourself in the interview and treat it more like a conversation than an interview.

I got great news

October 18th I submitted other material. Because we got married in December and we applied the following February. So I added some pictures, entry/exit visa for 2 more trips I took this year, and more skype phone call logs, and a short text about continued communication.

October 25th they replied to simply say they confirm that the case in process.

October 26th I finally receive the applicant's GCSM note I had ordered a long time ago, it was mostly empty. And the comments in it were the same I had in my sponsor's GCSM notes I had ordered and received.

October 27th my eCAS file was updated to background application check.

And today November 1st we received PPR, but also a 2nd email requesting to do the medical exam (which expired end of October).

@Bob just rush and re-do your medical ,then sent it with your ppr, congratulations much love!!!

Wow! Things are speeding up in Dakar! This is great. Congrats to all who got PPR.
Collins 24, I am so happy for you. I was surprised when you mentioned interview because I know Dakar hardly request it. Congratulations!

Good luck to all those who are still waiting.

Hi Timosky99,

No. Dakar, Senegal is also a visa office just like Accra. Dakar visa office handles a host of African countries PR application and TRV as well.
