Checked myCic today, it says that the "background check" is now "in progress"... don't know what this means for our timeline, but at least it is a change.

The day has come for us people. I am happy to let you all know that we received passport request today for my husband. I am over the moon with happiness. It took 9 months in total for us. It was a long wait but am very happy that that day has finally come.

For all those who are still waiting. I wish everyone will hear from Dakar soonest. I will keep the house posted on all developments.
