Hi there,

Someone please advise, for parents tourist visa application:
1. In Family Information form IMM5645, do we have to fill in details of deceased family members as well?
2. Only Names should be in NATIVE language (and English off course) not all the information?

Many thanks.

Hi Sindhu,

For the host documents, you must include:
1. Invitation letter should be signed by you and your husband
2. Your marriage certificate
3. Copies of your and your husband's passports
4. Bank statement(s)

For your dad:
1. How long is he planning to visit? And what's the purpose of his visit?

2. Are the FDs owned by him and/or jointly with your mom? Were the FDs made with his savings/income? And is the interest credited to his bank account?

3. Does he have to return to India for any pension renewal reason? If yes, then include evidence of this as a reason to return.

4. An NOC from your mom is not required.

5. Include a letter from the bank(s) that the FDs are not mortgaged/not locked-in and can be liquidated any time, if required (if it's the case)

6. Include a FD Interest Certificate from the bank(s)

7. Include property valuation.... either a self valuation or done by a CA.... also include any property realty reports which will confirm that the indicative market value matches that used for the valuation.

Depending on where your parents live, you'll find relevant property reports from Citibank/Knight and Frank/Cushman and Wakefield/Times of India/MagicBricks.

8. Include 6 months bank statements.... nothing borrowed for the TRV app.

9. Is your mom dependent on your dad? Or any other dependent family members?

10. Include a compelling reason to return by a specific date with evidence

11. Include 2 years ITRs (even if it is 'Nil Returns')

Cheers
