I was a student in Canada for six years and then an employee on post graduation work permit for two years. My wife has been on work permit as a dependent.
We got our PR this year and had it validated from within Canada.
Now we are visiting and returning. My wife has kept a bank locker for all those years and kept her jewelry in it.
She wants to bring it now.
Now, what is the process for us to declare the jewelry. It was never asked of us to declare any assets (except for over $100K on CRA returns, which we never had)
Any pointers will be appreciated.
