Custodianship forms

So...basically I am a 16(turning 17 year old) kid who's an international student currently in Canada who's going to the university of Ottawa in September. Problem is my study permit needs to be renewed and to do that I need to sign and notarize a custodianship form (due to me being underaged). If I am going to stay on-campus (in the residence for U of Ottawa) who should I list as my custodian?

Note I do not know anyone in Ottawa

If you don't know anyone in Ottawa who can ask as your custodian, then you will need to look into paying a company to provide this service. If you google it, you'll find there are a number of companies in Canada that will act as your custodian in exchange for a fee.

No - I don't have experiences with any so can't recommend. Just run a google search on custodian services for study permits in Canada.

Gotcha, I'll try that. Can a custodian stay in a different city from where I'll be studying? As I mentioned above I'll be staying in Ottawa and the person I'm thinking about is staying in Thunder Bay, would it be possible for him to sign it?
