I am employed full-time in a permanent, skill level A job (NOC 2141). My 3 year post-grad work permit is expiring soon. My provisional nomination is under process and is in the last stage. I am still waiting for nomination to get enough points to get an ITA for permanent residency application. Can I apply to extend the work permit until I obtain nomination (to maintain working)? or Do i need to apply for LMIA?
Any advice would be appreciated

You can't extend until you have the nomination.

If you want to extend without the nomination, your employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA.
