Currently working on OWP....looking for LMO job

Hi,

I am currently working on OWP, since my wife is enrolled for full-time master program in BC.

Wanted to know, if I there is a link where I can search for job with LMO.

My current employer does not want to apply for LMO specifically.

On July 31, 2013 a new Policy came into effect and employers will have to pay a $275 fee for each employee's LMO. The fee is nonrefundable in the event the LMO is turned down. No matter what, the employer still has to advertise and prove they were unable to hire locally and this is why many employers are unwilling to go to the trouble if they know employees are not hard to find. If you have an Open Work Permit, your employer doesn't need a LMO nor do you need one. Is there a reason why you need a LMO?

LMO is needed for those requiring extensions beyond pgwp

However no ads/ recrutment efforts needed

for those on dependant visa or owp - extensions is based on spousal status

I need to apply for PR, since I am working on OWP and my wife is on student visa. After her course if over, we would need to go back to home country or look for a job with WP.

after her course, she will be granted PGWP based on which ur wp gets extended

For PR

satisfy 1 year in NOC O OR A OR B and apply under CEC Class or Wife gets In Canada PGWP LMO approved to gain 15 points and apply PR whichever feasible
