Hi everyone,
I am currently working in Canada, on a IEC work permit which will expire around the end of January. I have applied for PR too. I am going to apply for bridge open work permit in a week, as soon as it will be 4 months to expiry of my IEC work permit.
I am also planing to travel to my home country in December and come back to Canada the first week of January.
My question is, assuming that I will not receive my BOWP or PR till beginning of January, will I be let into Canada, as my current work permit will expire around end of January? Are there chances that the officer will not let me enter Canada? I am citizen of a country that is visa-exempt to Canada, would that help?
My second question is, what hapens if I don't receive my BOWP by the expiry of my current work permit which is IEC permit? Will I have to leave my job till my BOWP is issued?
I would appreciate your help if you know about this.
Thanks
