Hi

Have you had any luck yet?

I applied May 7th Online (I'm in the UK) and haven't had anything back yet. I applied for a Study Permit and my spouses Open Work Permit.

Has any body received their permits recently from London?

Cheers.

Hi,

I've submitted my application to the London CHC on the 25th of April, and still no answer. I know I couple whom submitted before me have received their permits.

HI MrKhan80,

From what I can tell from other people who have received their permits, London is running behind with their processing.

Temporary Work Permits (TWPs) and Study Permits (SPs) should take 8-10 weeks but they look to be taking about 12 weeks.

If you are still within the processing time they probably won't respond to you.

I plan to email them when I get to the 8 weeks stage (which is next week) - I'll let you know my progress ,though I expect them to take some time even to simply reply to my query.

Cheers.

I emailed them after 8 weeks, and they replied that the application is still under review. I also believe that the strike is effecting the already slow progress of applications.

Nothing yet. I'm at the 8 week mark today. I sent an email tonight to enquire.

I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything.

Got a response from my email query today.

London said that "your applications are being processed and have been passed to an officer for review. Whilst the general processing time is 8-10 weeks, this may take longer due to any number of reasons including peak times during the year"

Now I just need to wait and see.
