Current processing time or the processing time when applied

Hi, I applied for my visitor visa on 1 march biometrics given on 3 march.
Eligibility and background check started on 5 march and till now no news.

I applied through gckey. When I applied the processing time is 57 days. Now the processing time is 35 days. It has been 50 days since biometrics.

I already sent 3 webforms and they reply saying your application is in process and there is delay due to covid and that my application is processed within commitment time.

Some people applied after me with exactly the same conditions and they already got their visas two weeks ago.

Please advice what should I do. Normally I should expect my visa after 57 days of application (processing time when applied) or 35 days (current processing time)

Does MP meaning member of Parlement ?? I google it but I can't fin a way to contact them in France

They can’t expedite your case. They can’t do anything if you are within normal processing times.

All you can do is be patient. Processing times are just estimates. It can take longer or shorter.

They can’t expedite your case. They can’t do anything if you are within normal processing times.

The thing is I am not withing normal processing because now the site says 35 days and I have been waiting for 51 days. Maybe I should consider the 57 days that was shown when I applied and not the time showing now.
Also a follow up question does the time shown on IRCC website include weekends or 35 days means 35 weekdays ? Thanks in advance

I agree and aware of this fact . MP can't expedite it just they can tell you the status which OP is not able to get via Webform, expedite word I used by mistake.

Having said that Still OP need to contact MP and ask where is his/Her application

Oops . I thought you are Canada based. Yes in your case MP channel will not work
