Like you said you got AOR after 2 months of DD encashed, Can you tell when did your 120 days started ?? was it when you got AOR from VO or earlier. I want to ask this to know that did you suffer any days loss while waiting for AOR all these 2 months after your DD encashed. I hope you understand my question.

120 Days time starts only when you get AOR from CIO. AOR received on march 3, and obviously 120 days start from the same date. Now a days its normal that CIO encashed DD's or CC's too early.

As you advised, I sent an email to visa office enquiring about my application which CIO Sydney received on the 24th of February and cashed the money on 19/03/2010 but still nothing(after more than 100 days).I dont know if they sent me an email that went into my spam/junk folder; since in the first month after applying I did not know that they were notifying applicants by email.
Even the visa office did not respond after 26 days.What should I do if they don't respond at all???
Please I am very worried :'(

I PM you.. anyway wait for two days more and then re-send email to your visa office show extreme concern and tell that you have missed the email so please send it again. This may work. Otherwise your 120 days may elapsed. Also tell that your DD has already encashed.
Hope they may contact you soon.

As from your previous post on this thread you said that you mail the CHC on 21 May. It means just 17 days have gone. How can you say 26 days.

they'll ask: last name, 1st name, date of birth
be ready to wait 8-12 min in the beginning and during conversation another 10 min

I just wanted to tell you that because of you I had my 120 email retrieved after it has been lost in junk.So when I called the number you afforded me with they resent me the email; and I sent my full package of documents to the embassy in Damascus on the 15th of June(by aramex) but is that normal in your opinion not to receive an AOR from them till today? I really appreciate it if you answer me because I respect anything that you would say.
