current country of residence

hello so am applying for a tourist visa now but am confused with current country of residence. i was in United States from 2009 till 2012 as a student visa then am back to Kuwait in 2013 but ill be going back to USA in august to continue my studies. so what country of residence should i put? for current and previous plz help me thank you

The answer is in your question. They want your current country of residence so where you are living now. If you were living in the US you would put US, if your living in Kuwait, then you would put Kuwait. If you are going to to be going to Canada after you leave Kuwait, then wait to apply until after you are living in the US, and put that your residence is the US.

i see. well am going to the states in july 24th and from there ill drive to Canada. is it going to be a problem if i apply here in Kuwait?

I would apply once you reach the US. But, it shouldn't matter where you apply from.
