I have a question like why not many students are applying for Memorial University of Newfoundland since it has lowest tution fee around 2000 CAD? :o :o

Is admission at MNU is very competitive? Do they receive a lot of applications? Can i get admission in M. Eng in electrical engineering with 3.01/4 cgpa in undergrad electrical engineering.?> :-\ :-\

Fees are almost $9K for international students per semester (not $2K). You must have been looking at the domestic student fees.

There is a difference between graduate and undergraduate fee structure. Dont confuse yourself. Make sure you're looking at the right fee structure.

Undergraduate:

Graduate:

It's 3 terms per year.

Yeah its very cheap but there must be some downsides perhaps thats why people are paying so much hefty amounts in other universities....

No its a good univ and its just a matter k its not in ontario or some big state as ppl prefer those. And sometimes they may not find their required course.

No im looking for it for next fall session if my visa gets refused this time. I ve applied for college in feb nd waiting till now.

Is the employment rate too low in newfoundland for graduates?
Is it a good univ if we find our programs?

what about getting visa on newfoundland university and then change it to some college in ontario,I have heard that once you there you are allowed to change course and colleges without any hassle

It is a good univ and why wud u change from uni to college? However if r on the same study level u can change college or uni. If u change ur level of study then u have to ask it from the embassy to update ur visa status.

No. Its just that its not in mainland Canada. Thats the only drawback. Otherwise, its a great place to live and the people here are among the nicest in Canada. The best part is, the rest of the Canadians admit this. ;)
