They requested some more documents from me in May and after submitting them, I got a letter in June that my application is awaiting final decision. Since I lost about 30 to 45 days because of submitting requested documents, I think I'll hear about the final decision in August.

Good luck man. Hope to hear good news from u soon.
I've started to get tired of waiting. July 2013 the processing time was 10 months. And now its 16 months and its not decreasing. This is stupid man . A lot of people in montreal are affected by this such a long processing time.

His interview was waived. He didn't have any french proficiency, however, he had a total of 56 points without interview.

Now that the quota of 6500 is reaching its limit, lets hope that it will speed up the processing since they will have more resources to focus on application backlog.

Thats gives me some hope that my interview will be waived. I have 76 and I know it depends on the mood of the officer but there is hope.

I went to see my consultant to change the my residential address and to append the file. He has shown some letters sent by MICC with Name of the officer and as a student at the signature stamp. It seems that the additional work force are the students, undergraduates from various Quebec colleges. There are some 80,000 applications pending with Montreal office and it is in tremndous pressure to clear them.

well thats a good thing i would say. if they are hiring additional people to clear files.

Hi all,

How is it going? I was going thru the Quebec immigration website for the time of processing. It seems they have made changes to the website and the way they show the processing times for applications. They basically split the process in to three steps and listed time for each. With this it could be some time between 20-32 months from quebec.

http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/temporary-workers/stay-quebec/application-csq/workers-quebec/processing-times-table.php?pays=txt-pays-quebec#formulaire_delais

Have you guys seend this? Also I am not sure what the first step is about is it same as checking the documents or verification with third party. What ever it is, its a delayed prcoess and very frustrating.

i know man, its so amazingly stupid that people from any other province will get csq sooner than us. For me its hard to understand. even a high school school kid can do better that what they are doing in their offices.

Hello,

To all who applied with a Validated Employment Offer, what does a Validated Employment Offer exactly mean and what documents are needed to be attached to prove it ?
