It seems as though there were changes in 2019 that affected the normal processing time of Quebec Selection Certificates. Previously issued in approximately 25 days or less, they began to take months to receive.
January 2020 processing is said to have re-opened and started up again.
The MIFI website says it is currently processing spousal family reunification applications from August 2019 but has said the same things for weeks now.
"- 23 août 2019 en faveur d’un époux ou d’une épouse, d’un conjoint ou d’une conjointe de fait, ou d’un enfant à charge;
- 4 octobre 2019 en faveur d’autres membres de famille."
Please share your timeline if you have received your CSQ since January 2020 or are still waiting (since 2019).
