Hi there, I am planning on commencing an application for permanent residency to Canada (Quebec) in September this year (I am currently in the process of getting the file together the moment). I am aware that the processing time for the sponsorship form is around 30 days, and the main application (CIS) is at least 10 months for an application submitted from London, UK.
However I am just struggling to understand what the processing time is for the CSQ which I attend to apply for an soon as the sponsorship will be approved? I have been on the immigration Quebec website but it seems to refer processing times for a selection interview only (unless I have miss-read it).
The main reason I am trying to understand the CSQ processing times are so that I can plan for when I would need to travel to Canada to ensure I land before the expiration of the medical (which I intend to complete late August/early September). Although I believe the exam can re-taken should it expire before either the CSQ or main application via CIS is approved.
I am a UK citizen, my spouse in a Canadian citizen (currently living in the UK) and we intend to submit an outbound application via London.
Any guidance on this would be much appreciated.
