Hi everyone, I received my CSQ (through PEQ graduate) just recently and thought to share my timeline with you. Hope this helps

Sent/submitted my documents: January 21st, 2020
received access code for value test: early April (I took the test the same day)
Issue date for CSQ: July 24th
Received the CSQ in my mailbox: August 3rd

Some additional info:
I took required French courses at Concordia University and didn't take the TEFAQ or TCFQ test if anyone wondering.

Hope everyone hear some good news about their case, cheers :)

The problem is as I mentioned my EE Score is very low, like even after 1 year experience in a category B job (my current field) the score will only be like 325-250.

To narrow it down and make it clear, I searched all the possible immigration options I have through the whole country and this what I got:

*Possible options:

  1. Express Entry (I already discussed that)
  2. Provincial nominees (my possible plan B would be Alberta "Edmonton", but also in their provincial nominee program they more prefer their own graduate. Plus the economy over their is not doing well after the word to pdf previous election.

What happened with Quebec Peq or Arrima?
Have you explored AIP, specifically NB if there are jobs in your category. I heard Yukon territory has PNP program with few takers - See if your occupation is in demand.
Don't give up.
All the best.

Those of you who applied peq graduate in november last year got any news?
I have called midi numerous times and my file is still 'in process'(as of yesterday)
Midi operator says they are still all working from home due to covid but come on, its been 10 months!. Others who applied later than me are getting results(at least called in for interviews).
Its very strange. I heard i could complain about it at protecteurducitoyen.qc.ca. if i do, it wont effect the outcome?
Thanks everyone.

Shouldn't have waited that long. Did you apply as student or worker? Complaint doesn't affect outcome. Lot of people got their csq after complaint.
Did you provide certification class scores for french or Tefaq/TCF?

I did peq student and certification class scores from concordia.
Im not sure if this helps but
I also got level 7 in speaking and level 8 in listening by completing fransation classes provided by midi after i applied for peq student.
I think midi can see them in my overall file.

I remember replying to you in July. You should have complained by now. What are you fearful of?

French classes by MIDI and Concordia certificate aren't much different. Why didn't you sat for Tefaq or TCF?

There's no fear but i was reluctant to do that if complaining could effect the outcome.

I already had certification from concordia from 2018. There was suspension of peq last year and talk of peq 2.0. With the standard of peq 2.0 then, i would have become ineligible for peq student as my studies were not at eligible class.
So when suspension was lifted in november, i applied with what had even if i have to do the interview in the fear of midi would do peq 2.0 down the road. I was doing the midi class from last december to feb of this year. Taking classes and prepare for the interview. I thought about tefaq test but my focus was to improve my french for interview.

So when i complain on that site, in english doesnt matter? I dont know why but i feel like i have to use french for all midi related stuff.

Okay, got it.

English shouldn't matter but better go with french. You are in a francophone territory.
All the best

If you had accumulated the year of work you could have applied for the PEQ worker last year.

It doesn't matter if you apply as student or worker. Infact six months data of this year, students have got more csq than workers. Problem here is that his file is stuck and without Complaining to citizen protector I don't see much hope. I haven't heard of any other person who's still stuck from November. Some similar to him got interviews, some got csq without interview and those with verification and Tefaq/TCF also got csq sometime in last 2 months.

My point was that if you had already graduated from Concordia in 2018 you could have worked one year and applied the PEQ as a worker from the previous year, because it was only suspended for students.

I was saying it because exactly the same thing happened to me. I finished my studies in 2018 and then I learned French. When I was in the process, the suspension of the PEQ students occurred, but since I was already working then I applied for the PEQ worker and I obtained the CSQ in 4 weeks.

Good for you. I feel for OP as it's really stressful. This is how Quebec treats us. I left Quebec but two of my close ones are still stuck there. Horrible for students and workers. A lot of people I know have already moved out.
