Hi,
i need your help on a situation.
we are privately sponsored refugee about to resettle in quebec. Had done with our interview and medicals on october 2018.
Before the interview we were informed to update our application forms and i did so, but after 6 months yesterday i realized that on the generic application form, in application detail section there was a question about ( Have you received you Certificate de selection du Quebec CSQ ) i mistakenly said YES. Actually it Was N Dossier (MIDI)number that i had been received and so i put MIDI application Number .
And we have not received our CERTIFICATE DE SELECTION DU QUEBEC (CSQ) YET.
any suggestion any kind of help will be appreciated.

Hi there,

You should be fine about the number but the moment , Federal office will verify with MIDI , they will come to know about your CSQ status that it is not being issued yet. SO, I would suggest to speak up with CIC agent for the same . ( If you have already gotten your CSQ in the mean time , there should not be any problem.)

Hello My friend,

I Just realized the generic forms which i had updated before the interview was never needed to be updated. They have our old generic forms which we had submitted initially when applying for sponsored refugee from outside Canada.
Is there any chance that they do not take this mistake seriously? as i assume the moment they see the section and compare it with the older version they will come to know that l, i have got it mistakenly.

Right now my online status is
Medical recieved since October 2018.
and we are waiting for CSQ.
9 families were present on the day of interview 4 out of 9 have been resettled and 5 families are waiting just like me and their online status are also the same as mine..
So friend what do you suggest looking to the whole scenario.
Should i wait or should i contact?
If so whom should i contact exactly ?

Hi there,

If you are in Montreal , Call this number 514 864-9191 . This is the number of Information service -Quebec Immigration.

Since you already have a Application number, just give it to the agent on the phone and some other information to validate and then you could have a status on your CSQ. Hopefully, It will help you a little.

How should i contact them from outside of Canada.
