CSQ - Inland application

Good morning all,

I will be applying inland through the spousal sponsorship with an OWP and have 1 quick question. I am currently on a closed work permit working in Quebec that expires in Dec and won't be renewed. I currently have a CSQ.

On general form IMM 0008 it asks in Q6 of "application details" if I have received a CSQ. Do I mark that as a "yes" even though the CSQ I have is 2 years old?

The CSQ is good for only 1 demand. In this case, your CSQ isn't relevant in your demand of Sponsorship since you asked for the CSQ you have right now for another category.

So, under the spousal sponsorship, no. You haven't receive a CSQ for this purpose.

This is what I understood from another thread on the forum. To be really, really sure, maybe you can make a call to ask, or maybe someone else with more experience than me could answer you.

But from all the process I've been through and all the thread I read, from what I know, the CSQ is really valid for 1 demand only, but that is actually a really good question that I'm curious about.
