    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

October 27th 2014 applicant here. My husband got his PR on October 20th 2015. Don't lose faith. :) We are still waiting for his PR card... another long waiting from CIC...

Inland vs Outland Common law sponsorship.

Honestly... it depends on which visa office is treating your demand for the second step... I've been through the INLAND application in about 10 months. Yes, 10 months, everything was done and my husband just got his PR on October 20th. If you are looking to the delay from the office that will...

Applicant who are now living in Quebec

From which country are you? Because my husband got his DM, we went to get his Health insurance card at the RAMQ and he was from one of some exempt countries (He is from Denmark). You can probably find the PDF on google about exempt country that aren't included in the 3 months delay. It took 10...

    Is this possible?

Hehe, thanks! For the proofs... I am married so I did not have so many proof to provide, but we sent a whole lot of pictures with families, friends, some trip we made together (like bus tickets, plane tickets...), 3 letters of our immediate surrounding attesting that our relationship is...

    Is this possible?

Of course you can, but for sure, you'll need your return ticket even if you are planning not using it... So telling them you are just visiting. Also, you have to make sure to have a valid status in Canada from the beginning to the end. You're not going to be covered by the health system here...

Question about withdrawing inland and submitting outland

It will become invalid I believe. Why would you withdraw your application Inland ? From what country are you ? Because in some cases the processing time at the visa office treating your demand takes longer than the procedure inland. If you already started inland for a few months now, I believe...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

I don't want to discourage you but CIC is unpredictable... It can takes several months like it can takes 2 months. It did not happened to me but I hope for you it'll be quick done. If you did not received SA or AIP, I don't really know what to say to you... Keep in touch with us I guess...

    Marriage at 19, problems?

I don't think they can actually judge you about your wedding... That would be really rude from CIC to do so. If you have enough proof to show the strength of your relationship, I do not think there will be any problems at this stage. I got married at 24 years old and I never had any problems...

PR Card Arrival Timeline Thread Deleted?

On the CIC website, it says that the timeline to receive your PR card is 41 days... How can it be 2-3 months then ? O_O

How I organized our applcation and a summary of all helpful tips I have learned

Well done work. If I could go back to when I assembled all my documents, I would've done that ! My technic was similar, but I used a document folder instead with many compartments. I also used protector transparent sheets for every form and I put the Sponsor application in one slot, and the PR...

Certificat de Selection du Quebec: Whats next?

Are you applying INland or OUTland? Because if you applied Inland, the MIDI is sending a copy to CIC, so you do not need to send anything (I did not have to...). If it is Outland, I couldn't answer you. But after you received the CSQ, the only to do is waiting to get anything from CIC...

    Last minute advice???

You seems like a really organized person and I think it is the key to a successful application. I would say to make sure all the proofs, the lastest forms, the 2 checklists, and all the documents in order (marriage certificate if you are married, proof of relationship if common-law partners...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

We got our letter by mail today (October 15th) for the landing interview in Montreal on October 20th! I am pretty nervous, even if I am the one sponsoring, but I am sure that everything will be alright. The end is coming soon-ish! Hopefully it won't take long... :P

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

What my husband just said haha. Nah it was saying that a correspondance has been sent on October 9th. We are expecting a letter since the Montreal office is mostly working by mail. Should be there by tomorrow or Friday since they sent it on Friday, Canada post isn't delivering on weekends and...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

E-mail. But I heard that the landing letter will arrive by mail. On eCas today, it says they sent a correspondance by mail on October 9th, 2015. So since Canada Post isn't delivering mail in the week-end, neither the day the letter has been deposited and that Monday was Thanksgiving, he should...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

Honestly, the Montreal office as well is slow as hell. I checked the Ecas of my husband today (Cedeel), and it says they sent mail on October 9th. We received DM on Sept.15th... And yet we did not receive the letter (probably max Friday), neither an appointment date so... I can understand how...

    family class sponsorship

Technically, Canada has 2 official languages... so French would be alright. It is either French OR English. When I sent my sponsor application, my forms were in French. So... yes Cedeel is right. You can send it in French as well, as long as it is French or English. :)

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

Eh... Me and Cedeel requested the GCSM notes on Sept.11th, and on Sept.15th we were getting AIP and DM. We still did not received them. We are also waiting for a landing interview but my office is quite slow (Montreal...). So the notes are a bit useless now, but I am still curious what they put...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

I have to wait for my landing letter from (probably) one of the worst office... Montreal. I heard it could take over a month to receive any communication from them. I guess I will have to be patient a little bit. As I said before, we're applicant from October 2014 and we got AIP and DM at the...

Hello! Me and my husband got our AIP and DM! We are now waiting for a letter (or a email?) concerning our landing interview and the documents to bring with us! Does anyone went to the Montreal office for their landing interview? How was it? How long did it takes to received any communication...
