CSQ holder - renewing work permit

Hi guys,


I am a CSQ holder under the PEQ and I mailed my PR application in February.
I would like to renew my work permit but I am a bit confused.
I know I am LMIA exempt, but does my employer need to submit an offer of employment to IRCC and pay the 230$ compliance fee?
According to this link (https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/...?q1_options=1i&q2_options=2c&q3_options=2c_iv) they do, but this link specifies it is for CSQ holders who have not yet applied for PR.

so: can I go ahead and apply online without my employer doing the above procedure?

anyone been in this situation before? Any guidance would be appreciated.

AFAIK, you are eligible for A75 cwp with your employer. You need a job offer Id and compliance fee of cad 230 deposit by your employer besides some other documents. Please Google to get all eligibility documents list.

I have a similar question, i am applying for a LMIA exempt work permit, but when i fill out the questionnaire, i cannot see in the list of documents that i havw to attach the receipt of tye compliance fees and and its not even pointing out if at all i have to pay the fees
Please guide

A job offer is a must for work permit (with or without CSQ) unless you graduated in canada.

Better attach it as at border I have read about people being asked for it last year.

Before the diligent admin deletes my comment, glean through certain posts on A75 on this page (it's in french but you can always translate if there's a handicap). A job offer is a must for work permit (with or without CSQ) unless you graduated in canada.

Graduated in Canada has no bearing on a closed work permit. OP is asking about cwp here. There are different types of work permit in Quebec and not all of them require a job offer also.

Not now but I read it of someone last year. I don't foresee them opening anytime soon. Online application moves you to implicit status but remember a missing doc may delay the process further. Provide as many relevant as you can.

my CSQ had delayed so i lost my statues as a worker my application to exempt my work permit got refused because i did not receive my CSQ by then i had 90 days to restore and i restored as a visitor.now i have my CSQ paper.
1: can i apply for a permanent residency with this visitor visa since i have statues now?
2r i should apply for work permit then PR?

You can start your PR with a visitor visa but given the delay it takes you'll probably have to get a new permit after that if you want to stay in Canada while waiting or wait for the PR outside Canada.
