Good morning all,

I have a couple of questions for those who have applied for a CSQ.

1. In form 0546-GA, section 3 how should I fill this section out? My wife who is my sponsor is a Canadian citizen and so is our son. Do I put them both as non-accompanying?

2. On the credit card form, do I put myself down as the principal applicant? My wife is sponsoring me but I'm not sure if her name should be here or mine.

Thank!

Hey. I sent my csq fike today but I realised I made a mistake in the payement by credit card form.
Instead of writing the name of my hisband as requerant principale i wrote my name.
Do you think It could be an issue?

1. This form needs to match what you wrote in your CIC application.

You would include only your son in Section B (since your wife is your sponsor): Members of the principal sponsored person’s family who are not accompanying that person to Québec and who are not covered by the undertaking. You write your son here as he is not covered by the undertaking (already a citizen).

2. Your wife is the one sponsoring you - she should be the one listed on the payment form as she is the one applying for you.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions - don't forget to write 275$ for the fees (not 272$).

Thanks for response!

1. I spoke to someone earlier at immigration Canada and they told me NOT to include my son as he is already a Canadian citizen. They said that the form should match what I sent to the CIC. On the letter from the CIC requesting I submit the forms to MIDI, both accompanying and non-accompanying are blank.

2. Yes, the person at immigration Canada said that my wife was the principal applicant as well :)

I sent off my application a few hours ago with the correct fees ($275). Hopefully it's a quick turnaround.

Keep us posted on the turn around time! My husband and I will be sending in our CSQ once we get the request from CIC! Good luck to you!!

I included both my wife's parents and our daughter as I included them in the form IMM5406.

I put them under Section B as they are not covered by the undertaking. I don't see this as being inconsistent with what I sent to CIC.

Thumbs pressed for you!
