Hi, I am seeking advice on the captioned from experts/senior members of the forum. My query is:

While going through `PEI` of CSQ, I came across a situation having to choose from following options:

- Undergraduate diploma of university studies - 2 years (in Québec, the diploma is obtained after completing 15 years of full-time education)

- Undergraduate diploma of university studies - 3, 4 or 5 years (in Québec, the diploma is obtained after completing 16 to 18 years of full-time education)

- Graduate diploma of university studies - 2 years (in Québec, the diploma is obtained after completing 18 to 19 years of full-time education)

- Post-graduate diploma of university studies

I have an Bachelors in Business Admin. for 3 years and as per our education system in Pakistan, I obtained the degree after comleting 15 years of continuous education.

Which option out of the ones mentioned above, should I be going with??

Thanks and regards

I think you should choose the first option

- Undergraduate diploma of university studies - 2 years (in Québec, the diploma is obtained after completing 15 years of full-time education)

Thanks BlueRobin,

But my point of contention is, I have an BBA-3 years which is as per specification stated on preferred list of trainings under foreign degrees and simultaneously I did not come across anything on the website which broadly elaborated this criteria. Even at PEI, it is mentioned as, quote: In Quebec this diploma is obtained after studying for 16 years...Unquote which may not be considered as a compulsion?? Whats your view..Additionally, can I get my qualification/degrees ratified from Quebec authority for `equivalence` to Quebec degrees? Please advise where to contact? Thanks

Hi All,

It is rather unfortunate to inform you that if you have submitted your application to Quebec and you have not yet been called for an interview nor have got the final decision yet, your application will be processed according to the new rules in effect since August 1st, 2013, no matter when you submitted your application.

Please check this FAQ, specifically answer No. 1
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/informations/questions-answers.html#august

Also, please help us to send a complaint to the Minister of Immigration by using the link below, you can send the complaint in either English or French,

Many thanks guys!
