Hey everyone!
I am hoping someone can help with a technicality in the Quebec application forms for a CSQ. I think this is just a language issue (as sometimes the translations on their website are not great).
With the IRCC, the Principal Applicant is the person who is applying for Permanent Residency, and the sponsor is their relative (spouse, common-law partner, etc). Is this the same with Quebec?
I ask as in the form "Payment by Credit Card' (A-0591-A0), it is asking for the name and date of birth of the Principal Applicant, but in brackets it has "person who makes the application". Technically, this is my common-law partner who is sponsoring me. It is the sponsor who makes this application, as they are the one who receive the invitation to apply from the IRCC. There are no specific instructions available on their website, and the definitions section does not specific who is the 'Principal Applicant'.
Just wondering if anyone who has applied for the CSQ could clear this up? Want to get it right the first time!
Many thanks in advance!
