CRS to 400 by October!

S&P500 to 2500 by November!

Let's buy all in!

Those, who are stuck between 400 to 450 CRS are the worst impacted. On one side, they have little hope to make it because the score is not that bad,...but not good enough to get the ITA. On every draw they shake the hands with disappointment. Moreover, no PNP for them at the moment. OINP is temporary paused.

Not sure, what can be done at their end. This video gives some hope that things may workout for them by end of this year. Let's see........

Actually, immigration consultants are also significantly impacted due to express entry. They cant do anything presently with such a uncertainty..........cant guide and cant misguide..

Thank you,
Pawshi

Wait nd watch if you can........

Remember it's relative.

I'm 31 with over 8 years of experience in my home country, and my English score is the highest. My partner has 2 degrees (bachelor, and a Canadian diploma) and over 15 years of experience in his home country, and we're still at 404. I'll be 32 in October :(, my points are going down now.

416 points is if you're in your 20s with a bachelor and a year of work experience in your country. That's hundreds of thousands of people. It'll never go down to 400.

Quoting from our watsapp group:

A must watch for people waiting in Express Entry pool.
The video was recorded on May 7, 2016 at Newcomers Canada Fair, held at the Shaw Conference Centre, in Edmonton and the Speaker works for IRCC (CIC).
Highlights :
1) Current draw size is kept low as CIC still has backlogs of paper based PR applications received before Express Entry.
2) The paper based PR application backlogs are expected to be cleared by Sept/ Oct 2016.
3) Once the backlog is cleared, Express Entry will be the only source of Economic stream PR applications.
4) This will result in higher draw size of 2000-2500 ITAs per draw.
5) ITA cut-off scores will "likely drop below 400" to accommodate higher draw size.
Focus on 2 mins clip between 16:30-18:30 for clarification on above points.

Note : Even though the speaker works for IRCC, please do not treat this as an official announcement.

By the way, Guys join CRS tracker - add your details help others!
It is difficult to trust this kind of news any more. We have heard a lot of promises from CIC officials in the past but the situation has become worst. Few draws, small ITAs, high CRS score requirement, etc trend is kicking a lot of potential immigrants out of the system.

I honestly dont understand how can cutoffs reach 400, when the number of candidates at every 10 point band is close to 5K (IIRC)

Honestly CRS of 400 is very optimistic at any point of time. That means the IRCC does not have any control over so many candidates residing anywhere (which right now means Toronto).

dude.. its not offical.. stop raising our hopes for nothing..

i agree unless anything is on an official announcement the supposed CIC official will only be speculating and is likely not a high enough level in government to even give any official statement.

It has been speculated about so many times on this forum yet what does anyone expect will happen if score comes down. Thats right demand will go up and supply down so back to the current levels.

Unfortunately people have to accept the scoring system is in place for a reason and for some might seem unfair but there are so many economic migrants there has to be a system of some sort to vet candidates else might not even be fair to create expectations for those with low scores that Canada is wonderful place with jobs for everyone regardless of qualifications or experience or even ability to speak english or french.

Speculation just creates false hopes.

well, let s see. those would be excellent news. too many people waiting for this.

No one can guarantee it, however, you got to agree that based on the above info, if the number of draw invites would increase to 2000, them chances of having a lower CRS appear to be realistic.
