Dear Guys,

While going through few of the topics in this forum, I understood there is a tool(CRS) to self check the points.

What are these points meant for?

I had a self check through this tool and could retrieve 367 points ( IELTS exam was not written however marked 7 in each section to complete this assessment).

With the current understanding I could be able to send transcripts of marksheets and provisional certificate of B.Tech to WES.

Can somebody let me know how to improve points mentioned above.

Thanks,
Vamsi

The first thing you want to do is improve your IELTS scores- you projected 7 in all categories, which is low. You want to get 8 or higher in all four categories to get the maximum possible points.
This alone should push you over 400 points. Once you are over 400 points, you are eligible for Ontario's provincial nomination program. If they nominate you, you get an additional 600 points, ensuring that you get an invitation to apply for permanent residence.

So, first step? Take the IELTS, aim for an 8 or higher in all categories. Then, work on getting your credentials assessed. Finally, make an Express Entry profile on the CIC website.

Good luck!
