Unfortunately, this isn't good enough for any draw in the medium term. Try to improve your score. Are you already scoring CLB9 in IELTS? That would be at least 8 in L and 7 in R/W/S. If not, strongly recommend that you repeat IELTS.

Hi,
At least till the end of this year, it seems very difficult for the applicants with CRS below 450 to get ITA, unless they have PNP or LMIA..

pls check this post for more clarity:

CRS 442 is an impressive score and you have fair chances of getting ITA by year-end.. (most-probable chances) :)

You can increase your current CRS by
1. Increasing Language points IELTS score.. All scores of CLB9 or above will be your goal [CLB9 means L/R/W/S = 8/7/7/7 bands ]
2. If you have chances of getting increase in work experience,
3. If you can get a confirmed job offer from a canadian employer, Job offer must be supported by LMIA.
4. Check for eligible NOC lists of various PNPs and if you fit in any. Apply to get PNP nomination.

and finally
5. No need to do anything at all from above mentioned.... just find a canadian who is ready to marry you.. and bingo... you are now spouse of a canadian (just joking.. this is not an EE option ;D )

Good Luck for your EE application !

highest available option for foreign work experience that I can see from crs tool is 3 years or more. I have 8 years experience. so will that change my score when I create EE profile?

If there are no changes in your situation, then your scores should be same.

what is the difference between scores from crs tool and that from EE profile?

If you calculate your score using CIC's own CRS tool and enter all data accurately it is the same score as you would get after creating your EE profile. That is what its purpose is in the first place.
But be sure to enter all data accurately and no tweaking 8)

foreign work exp more than 3 years will not make any change in CRS score,
(http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp)

but it will have more effect while calculating FSW points out of 100 (eligibility is 67 points)

and also different PNPs consider total work experience during last 10 years and give points accordingly.

Thank you everyone for sharing this valuable Information.
All PNPs are getting full... so it is better you check the details as early as possible and send the documents fast.

Good Luck for your application!

Guys,

I'm sort of in a mild dilemma. I have a CRS of 427, and its a pretty decent score I feel. Now, after reviewing the mid-year CIC report, I have this feeling that MAAAYYYBBEEE towards the end of the year I should be able to make it through via the regular draws.

I want your help to help me sort this scene:

My consultant told me that NSPNP option is available now and asked me if I wanted to apply for it. I am really not sure whether I should give it a shot or would it be suicidal not to. :-X

Cheers,
rohitbites

Has anyone noticed an increase in their CRS score due to work experience before the expected time?
For example, when I created my profile I input August 2012 as the start of my work experience. Funnily, I got a score for 3 years work experience on July 1, 2015. Is this normal? Does anyone have this experience?
Thank you.

Fairly commonly reported problem which occurs because CIC counts the month instead of employment start date. Recommend that you do not claim an ITA if it is granted based on these points till they rightfully accrue to your account.
