Finally managed to be in the pool after 4 unsuccessful attempts(profile ineligibility issues).. Currently at 475 but looking to improve IELTS so i can reach 481..

I am thinking of doing the same. I need 0.5 in listening and 0.5 in writing to hit CLB Level 10.

So, looking at the responses, can infer that 750ish draws have infused thought of CLB 10 to reach score of 480+.
Same thoughts here.
Will wait for couple of draws (may be till Nov's 1st draw) just to try my luck, if negative - another meeting with British Council needs to be scheduled.

I missed it by .5 in reading. I considered challenging it, but decided it wasn't worth it (I took it in the Spring when the scores were lower). I wish now I had.

I wonder how do they get this score. 481 is CLB 10, Masters's, 3+ years of experience and under 30.

Does Giving IELTS again i order to obtain 3 more points makes sense? Or 478 is good enough?

Will surely be good news if we see high 470s tomorrow.
My guess: ~1450 ITAs, CRS 478-481. Seems tight. Let's hope for the best.
