@ovi1985, you can check the previous invitation rounds. our score range has been given an ITA on several occassions already...around 40% of the time since Express Entry started.
Of course, past events cannot accurately predict the future but if CIC does not have any intentions to lower the cut off, they should have announced already that they are only accepting applicants with job offer, family ties, Canadian experience, or provincial nomination (because that's the only way to get high scores like that). Saves everyone else the time and frustration of waiting hehe.

Yes, bro. But I wonder, if CIC keeps issuing so few ITAs in each draw how thay will fulfill the yearly quota!

I'm actually thinking seriously of starting French lessons lol, no other way to improve my score and seems CIC draws are staying higher than 480 for a while

Same thinking is hovering in my mind for last several days. Lol

Well this could be attributed to three things:
1. The Canadian government has made it a priority to accept as many Syrian refugees into the country - so this has an effect to the immigration intake.
2. For most provinces, their Provincial Nomination Program has accepted so many applicants that they've closed their respective programs temporarily to attend to the backlog.
3. CIC is still attending to the mountains of paper applications they received.

All three are bound to cleared up soon so ITAs for us Express Entry applicants should be increasing in the next few months.

on 468. This used to look like a good score but it doesn't anymore.
everything looks so blurry now. loosing hope.

Yes up till March this year anything more than 450 looked good. But i think we will be able get an ITA by August.

Hi All,

My CRS is increasing to 465 by 9th of September as I will be completing 3 years of work experience.

I hope the scores are down by September.

I see many of us are hopeful that the points will go down by August or September. But could you please explain the reason behind this assumption?

Thanks, now I'm at least a little hopeful :)

CIC is over loaded with pending applications, wait period from 90 days has gone up to 180 days for AOR's and beyond in certain cases, applicants DD's have expired and CIC is sending them back and asking for new ones, PNP have been stopped as they have saturated 2016 quote already, ppl with AOR's in December have still not got nominations forget about COPR.

Looking at this trend CRS point dropping seems unlikely till Oct / Nov, hopefully by then they would have cleared the back log and then can start looking at 2017 quota allocation

hang in their and sit tight ....

I am at 473. Aggrieved more so because I had an ITA in April but there was a mistake in my spouse's PCC and that cost me. :( Now waiting for another ITA.

Yeah let's just be hopeful that our ITA cut off will come.
I know the feeling of waiting for something uncertain but imagine how nerve wrecking it must feel for people with AORs waiting for the RPRF. I'd say we had it better hehe.

For now I'm reading up more and filling up the application forms...that way I don't feel as nervous anymore and I help myself by completing some of the requirements as early as possible :)

Stuck at 481...any idea about when we can expect the number of ITAs to go up again?

I am at 478. I have no problem if it takes couple of months to come down as I have just applied for FBI PCC and it will take couple of months to get it :)

what is FBI PCC?
