Has anybody noticed that for Foreign Work Experience you get 50 points now with CLB 7? Used to be 50 points with CLB 9... Take a look

C. Skill Transferability factors (Maximum 100 points)

Education Points per factor
(Maximum 50 points)
With good/strong official languages proficiency and a post-secondary degree 50
With Canadian work experience and a post-secondary degree 50
Foreign work experience Points per factor
(Maximum 50 points)
With good/strong official languages proficiency (Canadian Language Benchmark [CLB] level 7 or higher) and foreign work experience 50
With Canadian work experience and foreign work experience 50

Either I am going crazy or blind... I am looking at the same page and it says CLB 7.. I created my profile 10 months ago and it was 447.. Today I got the ITA and when I looked at the scores in the ITA, it was 50 points for Skill Transferability.. Then I checked this page and fair enough it was 50... Please take a look again..

Thanks

Something is not right.. On my ITA it says Skill Transferability 50 points ..
My IELTS:
L 8.5
R 7.5
S and W 7.0

When I created my EOI, it was 25 points for the Skill Tran.. Today when I got the ITA, its 50..

I am nervous as I don't want to pay the fees only to find out that there was an error and application was refused

Please scroll down and look at the bottom section C- 'Skill Transferrability section'. The points are still calculated in the same way. Clb9 with foreign experience of 3 or more years gets 50 points

May be your work experience is now 3 years and thus might be the reason for the score change

But even with 3 years of Work Experience, one need CLB 9 as per you.. Right?

that seems to be system glitch.

To my understanding, CRS points can't be changed without a public ministerial instructions update, similar to the one came in Dec 2014, when Chris Alexander presented the original CRS points.....

Original Ministerial Instructions in Canada Gazette - http://gazette.gc.ca/rp-pr/p1/2014/2014-12-01-x10/html/extra10-eng.php

Your ielts score denotes that you have clb 9. If you have a score of 8 in listening and 7 or more in other sections, it comes under clb 9

But do you agree that CRS point system has changed as per this page?
