!!!!CRS point 406 need help!!!!

Hi All,

I have double bachelors and 6 years of work experience outside Canada. My wife has also done bachelors. We both have scored 7.0 in IELTS. Still our score is 406! The last draw closed on 416. What should we do to increase our points? How can we get State Nomination?

What do you mean by double bachelors? Did you take them separately and one of them was more than 3 years? If not, it is single Bachelor! I have seen many people got rejected because they got double majors for their bachelor but claimed it was double bachelors. The only way for you to increase your score is to have a better IELTS score, especially if you get L8R7S7W7. Or if one of you can get a Master's in Canada and a PGWP to gain Canadian work experience.

Are you in the pool? If in the pool, your score will earn you an interest letter from Ontario, and you can apply for Ontario PNP.

Still i am not in the pool, i have to start
Before that i was confused about how to get more CRS points ans state nomination.
Do i need to apply seperately or just they will nominate by themselve?

Have you calculated your score if your spouse is the principle applicate? If yes and 406 is the best you can get, Two ways I can think of...

1. Wait. Maybe it will drop to 406 in a few months and it seems that way. However, remember you will get a few points deducted after your upcoming birthday if you're over 30. This is not the safest method but the easiest.

2. Improve your IELTS Listening to 8.0 and keep the other modules at least 7.0. This is the safest and you will get 5x points more.

Good luck and I'm sure very soon you will be on your way to Canada.

Btw Canada has provinces not states.
