If we completed our post graduation from canada , than the answer for this question ``Was more than half the study program English or French as a second language courses? YES`` should be YES right?

please correct me if i am wrong

It should be No.

That question is asking whether half of your courses were ESL or FSL (courses for you to learn/improve your English or French)

Cheers ;)

It should be NO,
but if you have done some English courses such as ESL then its Yes.
But if its a regular program then it should be NO.

QUESTION HERE:

Was this degree, diploma or certificate:
• from a public post-secondary school, such as a college, trade/technical school, university or CEGEP (in Quebec)

Does it generally mean all public school and college in Quebec or just CEGEP in Quebec

For international students who completed their study in Ontario, should this option be YES or NO?

updated my profile after new changes. Still haven't received 30 points for my Masters in Canada.
I also have 2 degrees from India without ECA. Is it affecting for additional points?

Thanks,

Thanks,

It takes time to receive those 30 points but make sure you answered correctly the new questions as a lot of people have made mistakes in those.

Cheers :)

I am certain I have answered those questions correctly based on research on this forum.
After transmitting new changes and 'Processing Update' status, I can again see my points (same as old one) with 0 in CRS - Canadian Education.
Is this normal? or the changes take place only after CIC's email?

You might try to withdraw your profile and re-create new one, this will help.

For other folks looking more info on this,
I got those 30 points after 36 hours over the weekend. Has nothing to do with other education. Haven't received CIC's email yet but can see the updated points in profile.

Hi,
In the question:
"This is my current study: yes/no"

Do i need to choose no to earn the 30 points?

In the next month I'm finishing 2 years of training.
From the cic website its said:

"You can now earn CRS points for study in Canada above high school.
you can earn 15 points for a one- or two-year diploma or certificate
you can earn 30 points for a degree, diploma or certificate of three years or longer, or for a Master’s, professional or doctoral degree of at least one academic year."

The university will provide me a certificate right now.
i choose yes to the question "This is my current study"
and i can't see that I'm getting the 30 points.
Please help,
Thanks

Hi,

When I tried to create a Express Entry profile, the option (Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years) is missing in Level of Education drop down menu. I wanted to choose the Level of Education for my Post Graduate Diploma course which I completed in Canada. For my Bachelors of Engineering I selected the option (Bachelor's degree OR a three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute). So please help me for my Post Graduate Diploma.

Hey there, I've just submitted my express entry profile and i have 15 points less than I've calculated before - it looks like these are extra points for 2 years of canadian education that i'm eligible to receive, but not getting for some reason

I'm wondering if it's a system glitch and will fix itself eventually.. did anyone encounter something similar?

thanks,
Lisa

You need to do correction as below:
Was more than half the study program English or French as a second language courses? YES (It should be NO)

Hi all,

I answered this question YES first, but then, I changed to NO and still I haven't got the 30 points. Should I wait for a day or withdraw and re-apply? Please help!
Thanks
