you should answer "yes" to the first one if you went to a public university.

If you patiently read the first option of the question, stated that public university .... blah blah.. ( Quebec)

In my case, my master's is not in Quebec and neither am I graduated from a private university!

It just says Processing Update in my profile. It has been over 20 hours. I am little worried. Did anyone face the same issue?

Mine is also showing same status of "Processing Update" from past 23 hours.

Apologies to everyone - my bad. :P

Answer should be 'Yes'.

No wonder my IELTS reading score was poor.

Same problem here. Yesterday I create my profile and got the 30 point but today I had to updated it because i forgot to add a job in my list and after i submitted i got 0 points in Canadian education, so my score decreased. I think you will have to update your info and transmit it again and see if that helps.

My friend updated her profile and got her 15 bonus points on the same day, within 30 minutes.

you should have applied for a refugee status.

But I have a master degree from Canada, and I can apply through Express Entry and OINP. Why would I apply for refugee status??

It is not about you having a Master degree or PHD lol. you got into the country because you were awarded a scholarship with the condition that you had to go back in your country after your study. So technically, if you stay here after your study, it is a Fraud. Now, you explain that you couldn't go back due to War. SO the ''only'' way to justify the fact that you are still here after your degree is to apply for Refugee/Asylum status. And FYI, I know some refugees with PHDs ;)

My points took 12 hours to update.

+30 added up for Canadian master's education.

Took close to 24 hrs to add up. ( No email received - Just logged in and found out)

Did I ever say that refugees do not hold Masters or don't study??????????

It is so unfair to say that.

I am staying here in Canada legally on a work permit and because my husband is still a student I can't go back without him. and I will never commit a fraud That's why I am confused what to answer because I do not wanna claim points that are not mine.

You should try to reply in a nicer and more educated way.

Thanx anyway

My profile is in "Processing Update" from past 38 hours? What should I do?

I am in the same situation. I updated my profile around 6:00 AM 19th November. It is still processing the update. I raised a technical issue on my express entry profile. I think you can do the same and wait..

Same here. No email. I just logged in and it was updated.
