CRS- Below 450 - Guidance needed

Hello,

I have a couple of questions if anyone would be kind to respond

- What are the chances of people having CRS below 420 ever getting an ITA without PNP?
- Is it safe to withdraw an EE profile and reapply?
- I am confused on how PNP works, do we have to apply by providing our details to a particular (is there fees) or keep applying for vacancies till we get a valid offer of employment..if someone can shed some light
- Does HR NOC have a higher point than Admin NOC or is it all the same?
- Is it mandate to have more than 3 yrs exp. in one NOC to gain points or it is irrelevant?
- Does having a CHRP Certificate (ACI, USA) add points to improve CRS?

Thank you

1. Not if you stay with score 420, you need to increase.
2. Check the list of PNP that is put in this section of the forum. Every province Works different way, so you need to be more specific (some have online application, some old paperwork, some are free and in some you have to pay for application.)
3. for all work outside Canada it does not matter, every noc that is clasified as 0, A or B have the same weight.
4. you need to have primary NOC under which you will be stating your experience in CRS. When it come to experience in different NOC it is accepted (correct me if I am wrong) if you were working it for same employer longer than 1 year (that part is more for the FSW pointing part).
5. No, educations and certificates from USA do not have any special value when compared to any other international educations. The only difference has Canadian education.

Way to improve points:

ECA of your highest education
language test with results over CBL 9 (that will boost your transferability)
language test from 2nd language
ECA and language of your spouse
Canadian connections (studies, work experience, relatives...)

One more way to increase points:
Secure a job in Canada with an employer who is ready to file LMIA for you.

Go for PNP.

SINP, NSNP, QSWP, OINP...

or.. wait.. with 2000+ invites score is doomed to go down.

Thank you for your response. I have put my master’s ECA as well. I guess looking for PNP or securing a job seems a better way to go.
With people sitting over 450+, 420 seems extremely grim.

Agree.

If you are in a pool and OINP opens soon... easy way ahead.

Oinp is not about luck. If you meet their criteria and they invite you to apply you can. They have no on demand job list. As long as your proffession is 0 a or b type it is ok. As for who is still wanted are bilinguals - french and english speakers. These still do get invitations.

Most PNPs are asking for Job offer/ connection to the place, except ONIP. I am applying for positions from the Job Bank. As I understand, it also happens that a province or territory may also send PT Notification of Interest?. If so, do we have to keep checking for it or we receive an email update every time something happens with my EE profile?

the only province (as far as i know) who sends out PT notification is OINP, rest you need to search, register and apply yourself ... there is a thread somewhere specifically catering to requirements of PNP aspirants, you can look it up.
currently OINP is closed, and chances are they will restart by the end of this year ...

The main Ontario streams are closed but French stream and Corporate stream are still opened. For the streams that go through EE, Ontario itself sends out invitations to apply - PT NOI.

There are another 6 provinces (BC, AL, SK, MA, NB, NS) that do not require job offer (they have streams without job offer), but they require other conditions (specific previous job specialisation or ties to the province or meeting them in person....)
